Losing My Job Was the Best Thing That Ever Happened to Me

It didn’t feel like a blessing at first. Losing my job was terrifying. I had bills. A child to raise. A life that needed structure. But in the chaos, I found clarity. That layoff wasn’t a loss, it was a launch.


I used to pour all my energy into a system that never saw me fully. When it ended, I made a decision: I would never shrink myself again for a paycheck. I invested in my voice, my brand, and my healing. I wrote a book. I became a speaker. I launched a business. I stopped surviving and started building.


Now, I help other women and leaders do the same, take what broke them and turn it into a business. You have something inside of you the world needs. Don’t wait for permission. Don’t wait for the “right time.”
